Burak has spent his entire career in the field of home furnishings. As Vice President Design Director of Schumacher, he was able to create what he feels is one of the most important elements of a room – fabric. Textiles are the soul of a room; they express pattern, color, and texture, greatly enhancing the ambience of a space.

Through his eponymous firm, Thomas Burak Interiors delivers bespoke residential spaces that marry elegance with utility. With a boutique ethos, Burak oversees every facet of the process, ensuring each project, from Manhattan apartments to sprawling estates, bears his signature finesse.

He has participated in numerous showhouses including in the Hampton Designer Showhouse and created numerous table and floral designs for the New York Botanical Orchid Dinner, Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, and Little Hands of Virginia. 

With a diverse background that spans multiple facets of the design industry, Burak has worked collaboratively with consultants and numerous furniture companies, gaining invaluable insights and honing his craft. This extensive experience allows us to offer a comprehensive approach to design, ensuring that every project is infused with unique character and thoughtfulness.
